ICON Auto Lab is owner-operated and has coated vehicles in Tucson since 2022. We are a certified FeynLab installer, and we chose that chemistry specifically because UV stability and heat resistance are the properties that decide whether a coating survives an Arizona summer or dies in one.
Whether it is a Tacoma that lives on caliche roads, a Taycan that never sees rain, or a daily commuter parked outside all day off Dodge Boulevard, we quote the level your paint actually needs. Our most common recommendation is Level 2, not Level 3.

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that cures into a semi-permanent layer on top of your paint. Unlike wax, which sits on the surface and lasts weeks, it forms a chemical bond and stays for years. The practical result in Tucson is threefold: UV and oxidation are held off the clearcoat, dust and hard-water minerals cannot key into the surface, and the paint reads deeper and glossier than it did new. Before any coating goes on, we decontaminate and machine-polish every panel — a coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so correcting first is not optional.
The reason to do this in Arizona. Blocks the UV load that fades single-stage paint and chalks clearcoat over a few summers.
Tucson water is mineral-heavy. A hydrophobic surface lets it bead and roll off before it can etch a permanent water spot.
Every package includes a 1-step correction removing 40–60% of swirls, water spots and oxidation before the coating seals the paint.
Your coating is registered on your vehicle's CarFax record, so it reads as documented, verifiable value when you sell.

A coating is optically clear, so it amplifies the finish beneath it. Coat swirled paint and you get glossy swirled paint for the next five years. This is where most of our labour goes: decontamination, then machine correction under inspection lighting, then application in a dust-free bay. It is also why we will not coat a car the same day we first see it.
Three levels, priced by how long you want the protection to last and how much of the vehicle it covers. Every level includes full decontamination, paint correction, CarFax registration and free maintenance. Final quotes adjust for vehicle size and paint condition.
3–5 years of protection on paint. Basic shine and defense.
3–5 years on every exterior surface, not just paint.
5–8 years on every surface. Deepest, longest-lasting gloss.
Prices are starting points for a standard-size vehicle. Large trucks, three-row SUVs and paint needing multi-step correction are quoted higher — we will tell you before you book, not after. Financing available. Military discount honored.
Nothing here is rushed and nothing is skipped. You can watch it happen through the viewing window into the bay.
Book Your SlotSend the year, make and model. We quote from photos or a walk-around, tell you honestly which level your paint actually needs, and book a slot. No one here is paid to push you up a tier.
Hand wash, clay bar, iron remover, then an IPA wipe-down. Tucson's hard water leaves mineral deposits that a normal wash cannot touch, and coating over them locks them in permanently.
Machine polishing under LED inspection lighting to level swirls, water spots and oxidation. This is the step that decides how the car looks for the next five years — a coating amplifies whatever is underneath it.
Panel-by-panel application inside our climate-controlled bay, then a controlled cure. No dust, no wind, no direct sun during flash-off.
We register the coating on your CarFax so it shows up as documented value at resale, hand over your warranty and care kit, and book your complimentary follow-up wash.
Every vehicle gets a full multi-stage decontamination, a dedicated correction stage, and coating applied panel by panel under controlled lighting.

Standalone paint correction runs $299 for a 1-step, $549 for a 2-step removing 70–90% of defects, and $749 for a 3-step that clears about 99%. On older desert-baked paint we will usually recommend stepping up the correction before coating rather than spending more on the coating itself.
Ask About Correction LevelsWhen I arrived to pick up the car, I immediately noticed the difference; it was like it had just rolled off the showroom floor! It's amazing how dust and dirt seem to just fall off the vehicle. In the past I'd take my other cars in almost weekly to wash off the Arizona dust during the summer, but with the coat on this car I barely need a touch-up once a month.
Davir and his team walked me through the whole process and helped me find what worked best for me instead of trying to just upsell the most expensive package like others did. They were great about sending info on the product as well as reminders for the appointment.
There was a large picture window to the enclosed, well-lit and dust-free work area, and I could watch my tinting being done as well as the ceramic coating being applied to another vehicle. Willie and Vince were very proficient, professional and experienced with every step of their projects.
